Oliver Ivey: C/SS, (2024) Hudson, OH. 6-foot, 175-pound physical athletic build. Begins in a narrow crouched stance with a small load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was explosive, used an uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contacts. Aggressive approach. While catching, throw downs to second topped out at 77 mph; had smooth consistent footwork, a twitchy clean transfer, and next level hands. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.92-1.99 pop time. Tons of flexibility and flexible athletic setup. Used a high ¾ slot with a very quick loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. (Max spin ; Avg ).
C/SS, (2024) Hudson, OH. 5-foot-11, 165-pound. At the plate, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. (64.4 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, and used a loose uphill swing plane. Behind the plate, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 72 mph; has quick feet, soft hands, and a fluid transfer. he produced a pop time of 2.07-2.16. Clean setup with some flexibility. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.62.
