Moves off the bag well at first base. Gets rid of the ball in a timely fashion on his double plays balls. At the plate he has very fluid movements to his loading sequence. Uses a leg kick to get things started and takes his hands to launch during stride. Syncs up his body well prior to swing decision. Bat gets through the zone a slightly uphill path. Produced line drives consistently in batting practice. Fields the ball on his glove foot side and plays through it adequately. Will need to get rid of the ball quicker moving forward. On the mound the southpaw has fluidity to his delivery and works through a high-¾ slot. Delivery requires minimal effort and he lands in line to home plate. Fastball was anywhere from 62-65 mph. Has solid feel for both his secondary pitches. His changeup was consistently in the zone with some fade to it at 58-61 mph. Breaking ball showed a slurvish shape with gradual break at 56-57 mph.
