Parker Faris: RHP/1B, (2024) Perrysburg, OH. 6-foot-3, 160-pound lean projectable frame. Solid during batting practice, Faris had an exit velocity of 84 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a level swing plane and level finish. Barreled up some balls during the round. Pull side approach. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 66 mph; showed firm hands, average feet, and a natural fluid exchange. Laterally, his movements were average. Clocked a 60 time of 8.11 at the event. Solid on the mound, had a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action with developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows easy effort. He has in line shoulders and an athletic balance point. Has a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 72-74 mph. Showed running action. (Max spin 1962; Avg 1836). He had sweeping action on his curveball (61-63). (Max spin 2083; Avg 2032). His changeup (60-64) showed fading action.
