At the plate the righty gets things going through a toe turn load with his lower half. Barrel launches from a vertical position, and travels on a slightly uphill path to contact. Strength and bat speed both showing as above average tools through the zone. Generates gap pop with natural ball flight to the middle to opposite field. A first baseman that has the frame for the position. Brings above average athleticism to the spot, getting off the bag well with quick footwork. Ball skills are above average. Would like to see him create angles with his feet prior to fielding on double play balls.

5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect. On the mound the young right-hander has a slower tempo to his low effort delivery. Showed off a three pitch mix in his bullpen. Working through a near over the top slot his fastball sat 69-72 mph. Needs to be in the zone more consistently with the pitch. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with gradual break at 58-62 mph. Also displayed a changeup at 55-58 mph. Still developing feel for the pitch. Starts open at the plate prior to his controlled stride forward. Strong kid with some bat speed. Weight tends to stay on back leg through contact. Worked well to his pull side in batting practice, showing the ability to drive the ball in the gap. Third base type. Shows adequate feet but would like him to start lower. Showed some range to both sides. Transfer will be quicken by reducing steps. Throws from high ¾ slot.
