Body Type: 6-foot-1, 190-pound very athletic frame. 3 sport athlete.
Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance before showing a leg kick timing mechanism during back load with hands.
Hit: Level path with some natural loft. Physical hitter who can drive the gaps with ease. Really got into some balls to pull side in BP.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity. Easy gap with occasional pull side power.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Run: 7.06 60-yard dash.
Field: Registered pop times of 2.00-2.03. Obvious athleticism back there.
Throw: 71 mph arm strength to second base.

A good athlete with obvious twitch at the plate. The Wright State recruit’s movements are simple, yet efficient prior to launch. His bat is fast through the zone with obvious strength at contact. Sass’ path is slightly downhill giving him more natural ball flight to the middle of the field but he will flash back spin to pull side on balls down in the zone. The future Raider has the physical tools to be a run producer at the next level. Athleticism shows behind the dish when is comes to blocking it catch/throw skills. Still has room to grow as a receiver but one would expect that to happen as the three sport standout becomes baseball specific at the next level.

6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect with solid build. Another guy that continues to impress at the plate. Sass is a very strong kid with obvious twitch at the plate. Ball jumps off his bat, especially to his pull side. Consistently creates loud contact with a smooth, simple swing. Advanced skills behind the plate. Quick feet and creates direction towards second base. Obvious quickness in his hands with his transfer. Efficient actions behind the plate. Short arm action through high ¾ slot. Top velocity of 77 mph with pop times between 1.90 to 2.04.

A very strong prospect at 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame. Sammy Sass out of Upper Arlington is currently the No. 5 ranked player overall in Ohio’s 2019 class. One of the few 2019s invited, Sass showed really well at the plate. A fast twitch athlete that flashed impressive bat speed and ability to find the barrel in batting practice. Sass has the ability to use either gap and turn on the baseball with ease. He is a young hitter with serious upside at the plate. Behind the plate he showed solid receiving skills and the ability to handle much older arms. Catch and throws skills are above average.

Another exciting 2019 prospect that had a very impressive showing. A solid frame at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds. A very good athlete with advanced batspeed through the zone. Showed off his power potential by driving balls with authority in batting practice, including taking one out to left-center. Reached a top exit velocity of 91 mph. Recorded multiple extra base hits in the game. Behind the plate he has well above average catch and throw skills. Limited sample size but receiving looks to be advanced. Pop times ranged from 1.94-1.98, and he threw with 74 mph arm strength to second base. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash.
