Started in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is efficient, displays a level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 79 mph; shows a natural exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Solid in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 80 mph; showed a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.33. On the mound, using a compact arm action he showed some arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1619; Avg 1491). Had gradual action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1772; Avg 1465).
