Scotty Beckman: OF/OF, (2022) St Charles, OH. 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic proportional frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. (67.30 mph bat speed average). (21.49 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was above average, displayed a level swing plane and high finish. Athletic from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 80 mph; shows athletic feet, sure developing hands, and a clean developing exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball one hand. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.97.

Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is efficient and displays a simple swing plane. Through the round he found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 83 mph; had consistent hands, average footwork, and a packing exchange. Recorded a time of 7.04 in the 60-yard dash.

Fields the ball deep, movements laterally were athletic. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.9.
2/16/20 Position Player
Hit: Good athlete with a simple approach mechanically. Downhill path that is preceded by a balanced launch for the most part. Natural tools are balanced, with both strength and speed playing a prominent role in stroke. There are some things to clean up but good clay to mold here.
Power: Top exit velocity was 81.4 mph in BP, carrying the baseball a top distance of 224 feet.
Offensive Projection: Combination of burst and speed (6.8 runner) make him a guy who could play multiple roles inside a lineup.
Field: Plays fast in the outfield. Gets too and through well. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Tossed it to home plate with a top velocity of 77 mph.
Defensive Projection: LF.
Body type: 5-foot-8, 130-pound thin and athletic frame.
Swing mechanics: Small leg kick. Hands work inside the baseball well.
Hit: Level bat path with a middle of the field approach.
Power: Line drive guy right now with more to come as he adds size.
Offensive projection: TBD.
Field: Fringy footwork, lays back on the ball at times. Glove is solid, should make routine plays.
Throw: Throws were accurate but lack carry. Arm strength is still developing.
Defesive Projection: Corner outfield.
