Body Type: 6-foot-1, 220-pound physical frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Works exclusively from the stretch. Easy movements that sync up well. Tall and fall guy with good direction down the hill. Arm moves through a near ¾ slot with above average speed/strength.
Fastball: 79-83 mph. 1800-2100 spin rate guy with mid 90s efficiency.
Curveball: Sharp pitch that moves on a near 12/6 frame. Spins the offering well, making it hard to recognize the pitch out of the hand. Above average offering stuff wise as well.
Changeup:
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
Additional Comments: Three-pitch southpaw with respectable velocity and a nasty breaking ball.
Body Type: 6-foot-1 220-pound projectable frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Compact delivery with a slight pause at top of the leg lift. Level shoulders and good direction, workout out of a long arm action and ¾ slot.
Fastball: 76-79 mph fastball is easy out of the hand working downhill with slight cutting action.
Curveball: 68-69 mph breaking ball has hard bite on a 1/7 tilt. Shows swing and miss potential.
Changeup: 75-78 mph change is thrown with fastball arm speed. Pitch shows heavy run and acts more like a 2-seam fastball at the moment.
Pitchability: Shows good command of all three pitches. Breaking ball has future swing and miss written all over it. Changeup needs a little work, as it presently doesn’t offer much speed difference.
Role: Potential starter or backend bullpen arm isn’t out of the question. Like the frame and stuff and offers above average feel for all pitches. As long a velocity improves over the next couple years he should be able to make an impact on someone’s staff.
