LHP/1B, (2024) Highland, OH. 6-foot-4, 217-pound. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 80-82 mph with a max of 82 mph. Curveball (69-71 mph), changeup (75-76 mph). Obvious upside / length and release height create a tough angle for hitters from both sideshow of the plate. Expect velo to jump. Secondary already above average.
Seth Yacobucci: C/SS, (2023) Tallmadge, OH. 5-foot-9, 170-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 86 mph. (64.9 mph bat speed average). (20.1 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 82 mph; showed consistent feet, a natural exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 76 mph during throw downs; shows a natural transfer, soft hands, and quick feet. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.97-2.06. Clean setup with some flexibility. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Ran a 4.10 30 yard dash.
Seth Yacobucci: C/SS, (2023) Tallmadge, OH. 5-foot-9, 165-pound. Solid at the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. (64.34 mph bat speed average). (20.59 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic open stance with a quick controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is above average, displays a level swing plane and level finish. He barreled up multiple balls. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, he made throws to second at velocities up to 74 mph; has athletic feet, soft hands, and a natural quick exchange. displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 1.92-2.01. Tons of flexibility and athletic setup. Showed a compact arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.07.
Hit:Right-handed hitter that begins in an athletic, slightly open stance. Swing is compact and quick, with simple,controlled movements during the loading sequence. Level path through the zone,with a middle/pull side approach. Will continue to progress as he develops physically.
