Taylor Bednar: RHP/OF, (2024) Olentangy Berlin, OH. 6-foot-2, 215-pound. Solid on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Balance point is tall with downhill shoulders during delivery. Lands soft with balanced finish. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2018; Avg 1946). His 10/4 slider shows late action. (Max spin 2122; Avg 2036).
Taylor Bednar: RHP/OF, (2024) Olentangy Berlin, OH. 6-foot-2, 210-pound. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. He has downhill shoulders with a strong balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 2150; Avg 1831). Showed a 10/4 slider with late tight action. (Max spin 2129; Avg 2073).
Taylor Bednar: RHP/OF, (2024) Olentangy Berlin, OH. 6-foot-2, 190-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. Begins in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, had a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 77 mph; shows consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.79. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 81-83 mph. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2087; Avg 1989). Shows a 11/5 curveball (65-67) with slurvey action. (Max spin 1970; Avg 1914). His changeup (72-75) had slight fading action.
