Taylor Belza: C/3B, (2025) St Ignatius, OH. 6-foot, 174-pound solid frame. During batting practice, Belza recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Began in an open athletic stance with a smooth quick load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is quick and has a level rotational swing plane. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 77 mph; has smooth developing feet, soft hands, and a developing exchange. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 74 mph; has a clean exchange, smooth feet, and sure hands. Recorded a pop time of 2.04-2.07. Average flexibility and clean setup. Clocked a 60 time of 7.9 at the event. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a quick arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a low balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-79 mph; showed running action and arm side command. Threw a 11/5 curveball (66-69) with plus action. Had fading action and arm side control on his changeup (69-71).
