Thomas Chilicki: 3B/RHP, (2022) Olentangy, OH. 5-foot-11, 180-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits an upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 86 mph; has a fluid exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 86 mph; had a clean exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.48 at the event. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 81-83 mph. He showed a 11/5 curveball (66-69). His changeup (75-76) shows fading action.
2/22/20 Position Player Hit: Crouched setup from the right side, easy back load to hands during short stride for timing, compact stroke with a balanced combination of strength and speed, stays inside the baseball nicely. Power: 81 mph tee exit velocity, line drive stroke. Offensive Projection: Multiple roles. Field: Athletic feet, direct routes, above average ball skills. Throw: 80 mph across the diamond, high-¾ slot, arm works, more in the tank to add to already solid arm strength. Defensive Projection: 3B. 2/22/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Delivery requires some effort, lower half works well, consistently in line, arm works, should add velocity down the road. Fastball: 77-80 mph, regular arm side action. Curveball: 65-66 mph, 11/5 shape, balanced offering of depth and action, solid feel. Changeup: 67-68 mph, decent sell, natural fading action. Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
Body Type: 5-foot-9, 170-pound physical frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Slight pause in arm action before heading towards the plate. Dynamic lower half but weight shifts towards third base during load phase.
Fastball: 73-75mph. Slight arm side movement being thrown in the zone consistently.
Curveball: 65-66mph.Average movement on a 11/5 plane. Ability to throw in the zone most of the time.
Changeup: 62-63mph. Knuckleball like movement that freezes batters. Thrown in the zone some of the time.
Pitchability: In the zone most of the time.
Body type: 5-foot-9, 170-pound physical frame.
Swing mechanics: Smooth load into his back leg. Hands load up well.
Hit: Pull side approach with a slight uphill bat path that produces above average bat speed.
Power: Line drive guy. More pop will come as he develops.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup.
Field: In the infield he attacks the ball with direct routes. Footwork is short and quick. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Clean arm with present accuracy and more strength to come.
Defensive Projection: 3B/2B.

Two-way prospect. On the bump the right-hander has a physical presence. Works exclusively from the stretch. Drop and drive type following a chest high leg lift. Lands in line to home plate with finish carrying him in the same direction. Long arm action with some stiffness in the back. Fastball/slider combo guy through a high-¾ slot. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone with slight run at times sitting 72-75 mph. Slider was impressive. Tight/sharp action across the plate at 65-69 mph. A right-handed hitter at the plate that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a slight back load during his knee pinch timing trigger. Strong kid with above average bat speed through the zone. Path is slightly uphill that causes some path issues. Ball jumps when path is level to contact. Impressive barrel jump with backspin abilities to either gap. A third baseman with the frame for the spot. Quick feet with above average ball skills through fielding. Big arm across the diamond.
