Body Type: 6-foot, 170-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple load with minimal movement into his back leg while keeping his hands loose and loaded.
Hit: Level bat path with a pull side approach. Good feel in the box.
Power: Flashes pop to the pull side with backspin. More to come as he develops and adds size.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: In the infield he plays with quiet, controlled actions. Hands work well and ball skills look dependable.
Throw: 3/4 right-hander with an accurate arm and average strength.
Defensive Projection: 3B.
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic body frame. From third base he has adequate footwork while approaching ground balls, transitioning into his throws. Throws from a low ¾ slot reaching a top velocity of 72 mph across the infield. Right-handed hitter starts from a tall open stance getting himself squared back up to even before he swings. Has a fluid load with his hands moving toward his back shoulder and finishes his swing with a two handed follow through. Showed the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field during his round of batting practice, recorded a top exit velocity of 78 mph and ran an 8.29 60-yard dash.
