2/14/18
Put together the most impressive performance of the event on the bump. Actions are athletic and he showed feel for all three offerings. Arm is loose/clean projecting for more velocity down the road. Presently sits in the upper 70s with the heater. Breaking ball is tight with depth as it breaks on a 10/4 plane. Changeup was in the zone in the most part, showing consistent run/dive. Also impressed as a position player and could be a legit two-way option at the right level. In the outfield he has fluid, athletic actions. Times feet well to maintain momentum through fielding and into throws. Arm plays as an above average tool showing both carry and accuracy. Very solid defender. At the plate he looks athletic and comfortable from the right side. Incorporates very fluid, well timed movements to loading sequence allowing him to create consistent timing and energy. Hands offer both strength and speed through the zone. Ball came off very well, showing easy backspin and present gap abilities.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Loading sequence is fluid and efficient. Creates solid torque and separation. A good athlete with noticeable twitch through the zone. Bats works on a level path and gets on plane early. Consistently produced line drives in batting practice. In the outfield he uses aggressive footwork approaching the baseball. Fields nicely, on his glove foot side. Does a nice job of maintaining momentum into his throws. Glove skills and arm strength would be area for improvement.
Home to First: 4.62
Outfield Velocity: 73
Exit Velocity: 82
2/12/17
5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect. Starts in an athletic setup at the plate prior to using a leg kick to initiate loading sequence. Hands move back to a strong launch position. Loading sequence creates solid separation between lower and upper half. Bat has impressive bat speed through the zone with solid strength through contact. Impressive round of batting practice. Showed athletic actions in the outfield with obvious feel for the position. Gets adequate momentum into his throws through an efficient crow hop. On the mound, the right handed pitcher displays easiness with arm as it works towards the plate. Using long arm action through a near over the top slot, his fastball shows some natural cutting action at 70-73 mph. Two different breaking balls. The slider displays some sharpness as it falls on a 10/4 plane at 62-63 mph. Also mixes in a 11/5 curveball that sits between 55-56 mph.
60 Yard Dash: 7.57
