Trevor Zeigler: RHP/SS, (2023) West Clermont, OH. Cincinnati Commit, 6-foot-1, 185-pound. Solid on the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Has a strong balance point and even shoulders. Lands soft with recoil finish. Threw his fastball 88-90 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1916; Avg 1837). His 11/5 curveball (76-77) shows slurvey action. (Max spin 1961; Avg 1901). He has slight fading action on his changeup (77-78).
Body: 6-foot-1, 185-pound physical projectable frame.
Pitching: Projectable. Stretch only delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick developing arm speed, short clean arm action. Upright recoil finish.
FB: T85. 84-85 mph. (Max spin 2021; Avg 1900). Slight running action.
CB: 75-76 mph. Gradual action, heavy 11/5 movement. (Max spin 1857; Avg 1754).
CH: 73-73 mph. Gradual sinking action.
Trevor Zeigler: RHP/SS, (2023) West Clermont, OH. 6-foot-1, 180-pound. Athletic on the mound, had a compact arm action and a ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Lands square with a falling off finish. Curveball (74-76 mph), changeup (76-77 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 83-86 mph.
Hit: Fast twitch athlete in the box. Has some things to clean up movement wise but all the tools are there. Quick hands that get through contact with ease. Ball really jumps when squared.
Power: Gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling.
Max BP Exit: 84mph.
Max BP Distance: 303ft.
Field: PlaYS under control throughout sequence. Athleticism shows on the move. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Well above average arm.
Defensive Projection: Left side of infield.
Scouting Notes: One of the top mound prospects we saw on the day. Good athlete with a live arm who ran it up to 84mph with theater. Changeup/breaking ball both graded out as above average offerings. Talented young arm with quality stuff. High follow.
