OF/RHP, (2023) Defiance, OH. 6-foot-2, 180-pound. In the box, Frederick had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. (71.5 mph bat speed average). (21.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic quiet stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 82 mph; has sure hands, a clean exchange, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.18. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Body Type: 5-foot-11, 145-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple load with minimal movement. Hands stay loose and loaded through the point of contact.
Hit: Downhill bat path with a pull side approach. Produces some backspin to the pull side.
Power: Line drive guy right now.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: Remains under control through fielding sequence. Ball skills are developing for his class.
Throw: Drops it down to the side, and gets good carry on his throws. Accurate throws with good arm strength.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Up tempo, fluid delivery with a good amount of effort. Throws from a lower ¾ arm slot almost side arm. Stays directionally towards the plate through release.

Curveball: 60-61 mph. 11-5 shape gradual break. Shows developing feel for his secondary offerings.
Changeup: 64-66 mph. Late dive thrown with fastball like arm speed.
Pitchability: Spots up his fastball well to both sides of the plate. Breaking ball was inconsistent but showed ability to spot up at times.
