Additional Comments:
2/10/19 Pitching
Body Type: Long, lanky frame at 6-foot-3, 155-pounds. Plenty of room to fill out and add additional weight/muscle.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Regular effort to his delivery. Big leg kick. Maintains balance and direction. Room to improve use of his lower half. Long arm action on the back side. Throws through high ¾ slot.
Fastball: Ran it up to 80 mph. Mostly sat 77-79 mph. Occasional sink to the arm side. Stayed in the zone.
Curveball: 64-67 mph with 11/5 shape. Still developing consistent command and feel for release point.
Changeup: Showed confidence in the pitch. Throws with good arm action at 71-72 mph. Similar arm side run as his FB.
Summary: Seemed most confident in his FB and CH at this stage. Continued development of arm strength and breaking ball will be key.
