Tyler Raun: C/2B, (2021) Medina, OH. 6-foot, 160-pound. Solid during batting practice, Raun clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a quick arm bar load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was average. In his round he found some barrels. Line drive approach. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 76 mph; showed a quick natural exchange, athletic feet, and soft hands. Had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.96-2.04 pop time. Athletic setup with some flexibility. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.47. Capable on the mound, using a long arm action he showed some arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Curveball (65-66 mph), changeup (71-73 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph.

Really liked what I saw from Raun at the plate. The right-hander syncs up his movements well, putting him in a strong/torqued position at launch. Creates a ton of energy into contact. Hands are loose with noticeable twitch through the zone. BP was louder than exit velocity would indicate. A bat to follow. A sure-handed infielder that plays under control. Feet are quiet prior to fielding the baseball nicely, out in front of his body. Arm is loose, projecting for more strength with maturity. Athleticism really shows behind the dish. Burst out of his crouch with quick, well directed footwork. Transfer is clean and arm stood out. Solid defender.
