5-foot-8, 175-pound prospect. At the plate he uses a small leg lift for timing while taking his hands to a strong launch position. A strong kid with definite quickness to his bat. Swing is compact on a downhill path. Handles the low pitch very well. A flatter path would let natural tools show more consistently in swing. Showed impressive pop to his pull side in batting practice. Uses short, choppy footwork approaching the baseball. Plays through the ball well and gets rid of the ball in a timely fashion.
