Will Lazzaro: RHP, (2023) Gilmour Academy, OH. 6-foot-4, 225-pound physical frame. On the mound, using a loose arm action he showed quick arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Athletic balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-77 mph; has running action and arm side command. His 11/5 curveball (60-63) shows gradual action. His changeup (69-71) has arm side control and fading action.
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Physical presence in the box. Quiet load followed by a compact stroke. All fields approach with ground ball to low line drive flight.
Power:Strength is apparent and bat speed is serviceable. Ball jumps when squared. Gap abilities with power ion there as he adds loft to stroke.
Offensive Projection: Middle potential.

Max BP Distance:170 ft
Field:Ideal frame for the first base position. Plays with solid lateral mobility and developing ball skills.
Throw:More than enough strength for the spot.
Defensive Projection:1B.
Scouting Notes:High follow in the 2024 class with a 6-foot-4 frame. Projects for more velocity adding to his already respectable fastball. Showed impressive feel for spin, tossing a heavy dose of the breaking ball. Only going to continue to get better.
