Will Nash: SS/RHP, (2024) St. Charles Preparatory, OH. 6-foot-2, 170-pound projectable athletic build. (67.0 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick explosive, has a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his balanced finish. In the round he found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph; had consistent in control footwork, next level hands, and a quick clean exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. From athletic slot, showed consistent accuracy to the base with a short compact arm action. Athletic projectable on the mound, using a loose clean arm action he showed quick consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses decent effort. Balance is tall point with an even shoulders in his delivery. Lands open with recoil finish. (Max spin 2271; Avg 2218).
