Zach Bitterman: 3B/OF, (2023) North Royalton, OH. 5-foot-9, 165-pound solid frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 79 mph. Started in a tall stance with a quick load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was efficient, had a flat swing plane and high finish. Above average in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 76 mph; has a clean exchange, rhythmic feet, and soft hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had an-over-the-top slot with a loose arm action. Clocked a time of 7.5 in the 60-yard dash.
2/2/20 Position Player
Hit:Right-handed hitter with a balanced stance. Simple, fluid load that leads to a balanced launch. Long lever type with a slightly downhill stroke. Much more burst to come with maturity.
Power: Line drive pop that projects for more.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: Young catcher with room to mature. Showcased feel for the basics of the positions and pop times should improve as arm strength comes along.
