Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is electric, displays a simple swing plane and balanced finish. He produced loud contact and found lots of barrels. Up the middle approach. Advanced from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 76 mph; had next level consistent hands, in control footwork, and a clean fluid exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball to the side. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a very quick arm action and athletic slot. Smooth advanced on the mound, showed quick consistent arm speed with a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Balance point is tall with an even in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic recoil finish. (Max spin 2041; Avg 1972).
