Physical: 5-foot-11, 145 pounds; Slender, wiry build. 7.63 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet wide spread; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a a high finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman. Easy hand speed and a flat swing path produce some plus blast metrics. Barrel remains efficiently in the hitting zone.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while being aggressive. Hands work through the ball with a delay in transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 79 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 77-78 MPH; arm side run with sink.
