Clarke, a Finger Lakes CC commit is a third-baseman out of the Ontario Athletics organization. A big 5-foot-10, 190-pound presence, Clarke shows the ability to drive the baseball because of his natural strength and bat lag created. He sets up well at third base, and the hands work nicely although he lacks range. Clarke’s primary tool is his power, and it will carry him at the next level.

A righty swinger that starts in a balanced stance. Hands stay quiet during his short stride for timing. Starts movements early, creating consistent timing. Balanced swinger with a level path. Swing offers more present strength than speed through the zone. Line drive swinger. Feet work well in the infield. Does a nice job creating angles prior to fielding to play through the ball naturally with rhythm. Ball skills are on par for class, receiving the ball in the middle of his body. Frame and skill set fit the position. Solid defender.
