It was a good crop of catchers at the event and 2025 C/1B Benjamin Wdowczyk may have been the best of the bunch. Larger frame behind the dish at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds and impressed immediately during defensive drills with the top arm strength (73mph) and pop-time of 2.01-2.19. Also moves well for a catcher of his size with a 7.28 60-yard time. Right-handed hitter with a toe-tap to begin his load and it’s more of a line-drive approach right now but looks to be some more power coming down the road. Peak exit velocity of 87.1mph and distance of 249ft.
