2026 Clark Heimbecker is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the Ontario Nationals organization and the left-handed hitter stands out with a well-rounded game and bat-to-ball skills. The 5-foot-11, 177-pound middle infielder has put together a strong offseason and looks primed for a strong summer as he begins to draw some college interest. Heimbecker was on-time throughout BP with line-drives to the middle of the cage, generating a max exit velocity of 95.6mph and distance of 306ft. There’s good actions on the infield and the arm was up to 81mph (83mph last month). He also ran a 3.74 30-yard dash. Heimbecker is a name college coaches need to know as the summer tournament season approaches.
Heimbecker is heading into his junior year as one of the top prospects in the ‘26 class. The NY State Games alum operates from the left-side with the stick with a very simplified approach. Starts with a wider stance, keeps the hands quiet, and concluded his rounds with a maximum exit velocity of 93.4 mph, and a peak distance of 336 feet. The 5-foot-11, 178-pound frame ended his workout on the turf where he had showed feel for his position. An intriguing ballplayer with tools that could make an impact at the collegiate level
Heimbecker was a player our staff was eager to see as he went up against some older competition in front of college coaches and the 5-foot-11, 178-pound middle infielder was up to the challenge. The Ontario Nationals product put together one of the top overall performances on workout day and carried that into gameplay where he picked up several hits including a double into the pull-side gap. Left-handed bat with plenty of growth and maturity to come.
