2025 Ontario Nationals Scout Day
This was our second look at Geldart over the past month and he continues to flash potential on both sides of the ball. 5-foot-11, 165-pound infield/pitcher from the Ontario Nationals program and was able to best his max exit velocity and distance from last month as he put up an 88.3mph EV and 296ft distance. The left-handed hitter has a wide setup that allows him to work gap-to-gap with level, line-drive approach. Geldart possesses plenty of potential on the mound as he continues to develop with a clean operation that should allow velo to come as he gains strength. The fastball sat 81-83mph (T83.5mph) and the offspeed stuff is still developing with a slider at 76mph and changeup at 78-80mph.
2025 Toronto New Year Invite
The 5-foot-11, 168-pound two-way is a talented ballplayer in the ‘26 class. Started the afternoon off with the stick, steps in the box from the left-side, and operated well during his two rounds. The second basemen provided some clean actions on the turf that clocked in at 81 mph from the infield. Geldart coupled it with a strong showing on the mound. Equipped with a four pitch mix with feel for the whole arsenal. The heaters sits in the 82 mph range and exhibited good bite with the off-speed. The Nationals’ product will look to carry the momentum as we approach the ‘25 summer circuit.
