2023 RHP/OF Darren Lowe-Gaillard has an athletic look on the mound at 6-foot, 170-pounds and worked his fastball up to 81mph with ride through the zone. The arm is long, clean and there's a ton of upside here on the mound as begins to dedicate more time to his development on the mound. Curveball had tight, downward spin and there's present feel for the pitch. Also flashed a CH at 67-71mph. Potential breakout candidate this year from the 2023 class.
5-foot-10, 144-pound right-handed pitcher, Lowe-Gaillard impressed on this day. In the outfield, he charged aggressively and let off throws up to 83. At the plate, it’s a mechanically clean swing, and a flat path, with a line-drive stroke. Strength gains will be crucial for his offensive development. He translated well to the mound; it’s an athletic delivery, the arm works short outback, and releases from a high 3/4 slot. It’s loose, he was up to 79, and there’s much more velo in the tank. He showed some feel for a curveball as well.
