Morales is a talented INF in the ‘26 class that has made strides from the last time our staff had eyes on him. It is a strong 5-foot-10, 190-pound frame that swings it well from the right-side. Displayed a controlled operation that generated a whippy barrel through the zone with length through it. In terms of the metrics, Drayden finished his rounds with a maximum exit velocity of 94.9 mph, an average exit velocity of 86.4 mph, and a peak distance of 315 feet. Furthermore, he looked right with the glove displaying good footwork/hands, and clocked in at 86 mph from the infield during defensive workouts. It is a gap to gap approach in the box that can hold his own in the 5/4 hole that should make an impact at the next level.
2025 RHP/SS Drayden Morales, 5-foot-8, 160-pounds - One of the more noticeable strong players at the event and plays through the ball well on the infield. Profiles more at a corner position long-term with the size. Right-handed hitter with an aggressive leg-kick to start the swing that made it difficult at times to find his timing. Loudest swings came when he was catching the ball out front and lifting to the pullside. Top exit velocity of 79mph. Stepped on the mound and worked up to 71mph, also flashing a slider and changeup.Â
