Best present tool is the bat as he works from an open stance from the left side, knees slightly bent, does a good job with his load and timing, getting back online with his feet and hands in a good position to hit. Looked to stay middle of the field, hands worked inside baseball and short path to contact, had an exit velo of 82 mph. Defensively, sets up well behind the dish, clean transfers and feet moved well and gained ground. Being able to add arm strength will be key for Shepherd moving forward as their is fundamentals to his game and has some tools that you can work with and he can continue to improve on.
