Continues to improve and polish his game. Still room for strength gains to come. 6.95 sixty with regular effort. Moved well during defensive work on the infield, hands work, stayed under control, 81 mph across the diamond, displayed confident actions. Short, line drive oriented swing, loose swing with some whip, 88 mph exit velo. Arrow keeps pointing up with Suraganan.
10.22.17 - One of the better all around players at the Fall Finale, Suraganan had a day as he performed well in all areas of the workout. Ran a 7.40 sixty in workout and showed range in the field moving to his left and up the middle for a highlight reel play. Moved his feet well and worked through baseballs, showing ability to get rid of the ball. At the plate, balanced and controlled through contact, moved well with rhythm in his hands and was able to show feel for the barrel and create hard contact during his BP round and had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Solid day for the 2019 infielder and with some added strength, he could really see a jump heading into 2018.
