Raspanti is an uncommitted senior with catch and throw abilities and good feel for the barrel in the box. Listed at 5-foot-10 and 200-pounds, the left-handed bat is the best tool in Raspanti’s tool box. No wasted movement, the hands are loose and relaxed and start back as he incorporates a small stride to launch position. Gets hips and hands through the zone well with a high finish, found the barrel with some loud contact and drove balls to his pull side, best exit velocity was 89 mph. Defensively, moved well behind the plate, had best pop time of 1.88 and velocity out the crouch was 73 mph. The feet work well with momentum to the bag and does a good job of getting rid of the ball, accuracy was on the bag and Raspanti has the chance to be an offensive catcher who should get the opportunity to work with a staff at the right college program.
