2023 Ontario Junior Future Games Trials
Cleaver showed one of the more polished overall games at the Jr. Future Game Trials in Toronto. His swing stood out amongst all his tools with a mature approach and high hands in his stance with a simple lower half that creates a smooth swing plane. His numbers stand out at the plate, with a peak distance of 289 feet and catching barrel at a clip of 90%, courtesy of our Trackman. His quick footwork and transfer behind the dish also stood out.
2022 Junior Future Games Trials
2026 C/3B Liam Cleaver - 5-foot-8, 138-pounds. Cleaver took reps behind the dish at the third base and the feet work on the infield. Behind the dish he has consistent clean transfers with a best pop-time of 2.53. Creates good rotational acceleration from the right-side and was working line drives to the middle of the field. Top exit velocity of 75mph.
