The 2022 corner infielder was one of several seniors that stood out at the Legionaires Scout Day. Marshall, a right-handed hitter, had one of the loudest rounds of the batting practice with strength from the right-side. While it's the present strength in his bat that catches the eye, he proved the glove works too.
The bat is the top tool for Marshall right now and he is a right-handed hitter who does not hold back in BP. It’s an upright and open stance to start, hands are quiet and near his back shoulder and loads with timing on his stride and separation. Looking to do damage with every swing, its pull side oriented as he looks to get the ball in the air and drive to the gaps. He has opportunity to tap into some power that will play in game as the 2022 Marshall shows he can recognize pitches in game and be someone who is a threat to do damage at the plate.
