Our staff had eyes on Perez-Scott back at the Jr. Future Games at Lakepoint last July. He is a promising prospect in the ‘28 class with a bright future ahead. Displays a clean operation on both sides of the ball. Started the event off with the stick that produced a 86.9mph peak exit velocity and a maximum distance of 300 feet. Paired it with a strong showing on the mound. The fastball registered in at 76-77.2 mph (2,180+) with the ability to spin the off-speed. The pitch-ability is advanced for his class and the velocity will only tick up as he matures into his 5-foot-8, 155-pound frame.

Perez-Scott was an easy standout for us throughout the course of 2024 with his left/left profile and the way he moves in all areas of his game. Smooth, simple stroke from the left-side with the ability to find the barrel and offensive game has a chance to take off as he begins to mature and add strength. Highly intriguing on the mound, as well, as the left-hander pitcher has worked up to 78mph with good direction and strike-throwing abilities. Plenty to like here already and much more to come throughout his high school career.

2028 LHP/OF Nicholas Perez Scott was one of just seven pre-high school players in attendance and possesses some of the best actions our staff has seen to-date in his class. 5-foot-7, 150-pound, two-way left-on-left with a chance to blossom into an intriguing talent on either side of the ball. Worked up to 72mph on the mound, along with a curveball and changeup. Moves well on the mound with good mechanics and delivery for his age. At the dish, he put together a quality round with a Sweet Spot % of 78, along with a peak exit velocity of 82.9mph and distance of 268ft. Will be a name to keep an eye on as we prepare our release our inaugural 2028 rankings this coming fall.
