9/9/17 - Mitchell, now 6-foot, 160-pounds unsigned senior with room to carry more weight and size. Right-handed arm that worked in upper 70's with fastball. Arm had some length in back with some cut action to his heater. Curveball had 10/4 shape and looked more of a slider in the future. Wasn't always able to get out front and work downhill, hindering his extension on pitches. Added strength will play role in his development heading into the winter.

Young 2018 grad who moved well and had some life in his 5-foot-11, 135-pound frame. At the plate, slight toe tap, minimal stride to load, hands travel through the zone at a slightly below level plane, exit velocity was  73 mph and will grow with strength gains. Defensively,  moved well in the infield, made the plays out front and could go side to side. Arm worked from 3/4 arm slot, worked well  and showed some quickness. Velocity across the infield was 71 mph and will only increase as maturity takes place. Will follow and track development.
