9.9.17 - Elliott continues to grow as he is now listed at 6-foot-4, 175-pounds and has plenty of room to fill out and add size. Slow tempo delivery, Elliott uses mostly his arm and can incorporate more of his body into his delivery. The arm is loose and he shows aptitude for his breaking ball, some small adjustments and a big winter in the weight room is what will help Elliott take that next step in his development.
3/26/17
A long and lanky 6-foot-2, 165-pound left-hander with room to add size and strength. Elliot throws from a L-¾ slot, with an arm that works well and shows clean action to get out front. Good command of his fastball that reached 78 mph with some cutting action, shown he is able to keep fastball down in the zone. Has a good feel for changeup that has late action, but at times will slow arm speed. Shows a feel for his curveball that has a late break to it but still needs to find consistency with pitch. Elliot is a good-looking prospect who should get better as he continues to grow, develop and get stronger.
Long build and levers for the 2018 grad at 6-foot-2, 160-pounds for the left-hander. Pounded the zone and showed command with fastball at 78 mph. Threw some really good changeups that would dive before the plate at 68 mph and feel for the curveball will come with reps and time. Good looking prospect with an arm that works and foundation to become bigger and stronger.
