A physical catcher with a strong build and room to fill out, Godmaire is an interesting prospect out of the 2020 class. Some tweaks will need to be made at the plate, but he does show some hand quickness and athleticism in the box. Behind home plate, Godmaire moves well with good footwork. We improved lower half agility and improvement in arm strength, Godmaire will be able to improve his game behind the backstop. Overall, an interesting catching prospect who has plenty of time to get stronger and make strides in his all-around game.
