Body Type: 6-foot-1, 205-pound physical frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Starts from a hybrid stance on the mound and shows a smooth tempo to his delivery. ¾ righty with feel for his movements. Delivery doesn’t require a ton of effort.
Fastball: 80-84 mph. Pitch comes out well with slot creating a tough angle on hitters, especially from the right side. High spin rate guy at 2100-2300 spin rate.
Slider: Pairs well with fastball out of slot. Tunnels well. Tight action.
Changeup: Good feel for the offering that has some arm side action to it.
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
Additional Comments: Stuff translate to the next level. Definite arm to follow.

CB/SL Range: 65-68
Big body frame. Powerful leg drive towards target. Loose arm action with 3/4 arm slot. Compact mechanically. CB/SLD has tight break and keeps it off plate away from hitters. Works only from the stretch. Shows potential for more velo with increased strength and increased lower half drive. Long stride leg gets him down the mound tends to drag arm at times. Some run on 2-seam able to fool hitters with CB.

A 6-foot-1, 205-pound pitcher, Jackman has a strong lower half as well as some quickness and athleticism in his delivery. Has good tempo on the mound, arm action stays short and clean as he works from a high-¾ slot. Fastball has late life down in the zone to his arm side and is up to 84 mph. Changeup sat 72-74 mph with some late fading action down in the zone. Showed a good feel for his curveball which gets good depth at an 11/5 shape. Overall and interesting 2020 arm, Jackman will be a nice follow into the summer.
Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)
Jackman stands 6-foot-1, 205-pounds with a thicker lower half build. On the mound he uses a crouched setup, hands high. Sits on his back-side hard as he drives forwards, hands break a this waist, short tight arm-action, average length stride, front hip shows mobility, finishes over front side with extension. Fastball sat 82-84 from a high 3/4 slot, shows a tight breaking ball at 67-68 with 10/5 shape, change up sat 72-74. Overall, fun prospect to keep a close eye on.
