2026 SS Zachary Molinari is an interesting uncommitted infielder in the Nats program with development and strength gains to come at 6-foot, 165-pounds. The right-hander hitter showed barrel control throughout his BP for a healthy mix of line-drives and flyballs to the middle part of the cage. Molinari put together a max exit velocity of 88mph (83mph avg), max distance of 286ft and Sweet Spot % of 69%. There’s some arm strength in the outfield with 83mph throws and also ran a 4.00 30-yard dash. Molinari continues to get better each time we see him and it will be fun to see where his game is at this time next year with another full year of development, reps and maturity.
