This was our first look at 2028 INF Dylan Rego out of the Team Ontario Astros program and there’s length in the frame with strength to come at 6-foot-1, 148-pounds. Still just a freshman, Rego’s game is still raw but there’s plenty to work with as the tall left-handed hitter was able to hit to all fields with a peak exit velocity of 84.1mph and peak distance of 272ft. On the infield, Rego was up to 78mph and also ran a 4.24 30-yard dash. Overall, it’s an intriguing talent as a left-handed hitting infielder, especially as he fills out and begins to tap into some power.
