An uncommitted ‘26 that looked the part during defensive workouts. Produced good angles to the ball and presented the glove well. Coupled it with a solid two rounds with the bat that generated a peak exit velocity of 92.7 mph. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound infielder’s stock should continue to rise with added strength.
‘26 MIF Erik Fritz is somewhat undersized at 5-foot-9, 155-pounds but possessed one of the better looking swings at the event. The left-handed hitter consistently worked gap-to-gap throughout his round with a Sweet Spot % of 63. Put together a peak exit velocity of 90.5mph and peak distance of 268ft and the numbers should continue trending upwards as he fills out over the next several years.
