C Maxime Decarie was the other big-time performer on the positional side and caught our attention immediately with his swift work behind the dish. Proportionate frame at 5-foot-11, 180-pounds with a quick catch/throw, along with 78mph arm with all throws around the bag, culminating in a top pop-time of 1.85. The left-handed hitter showed some maturity throughout his round of BP, working to the big part of the field with a peak exit velocity of 90.1mph and distance of 344ft. Another talent from the Canada Reds Academy to get out and see this spring/summer.
