Hamel is a two-way prospect in the ‘26 class out of the Nationals’ program. The 5-foot-10, 150-pound third basemen started the afternoon off with the stick. Swings it well from the right-side and ended his two rounds with a peak exit velocity of 90.2 mph, and a maximum distance of 281 feet. Showed some good actions on the turf during the defensive end of his workout. Nathan finished the day off on the bump that spins it from the right-side. He is equipped with a three pitch mix, which includes: a fastball, changeup, and curveball. It was an overall productive day for Hamel and he will look to play a pivotal role in his team’s success this summer.
