Noah Vandevan, a 2027 right-hander out of the WowFactor Canada program joined us for bullpen on Saturday and flashed a good three-pitch mix that should see his velocity continue ticking upwards. Smaller stature right now at 5-foot-9, 155-pounds and the fastball sat 73-76mph. There’s good characteristics on the secondary offerings with a tight, horizontal breaking ball at 63-67 and a changeup at 67-79mph that averaged 15.1 HM compared to 3.0 IVB. Vandevan is still raw on the mound but there’s plenty of potential going forward in his development.
