2026 LHP/OF Owen Daughney was an interesting two-way prospect out of the Milton Elite program who made his first appearance at a Prep Baseball event. 6-foot, 180-pound left-hander sat 77-79mph with the fastball, creating good IVB on the pitch. The secondary stuff included a curveball at 64-66mph and splitter at 68-72mph with sub-850pm spin. There’s also some upside with the right-handed bat where he posted a peak exit velocity of 91.5mph and peak distance of 329ft. Overall, there’s things to like in Daughney’s game right now with plenty of room for further development and strength.
