2029 SS/RHP Owen Gibson was one of the youngest players at the event and made plenty of noise with some loud metrics for his age and an athletic look at 5-foot-10, 140-pounds. Gibson impressed in all areas of the showcase, starting on the offensive side where he consistently found the barrel (86% Sweet Spot%) with a max exit velocity of 94.1mph (85.1 avg), max distance of 260ft and Line Drive% of 64%. On the infield, the Nats two-way was up to 75mph and ran a 4.12 30-yard dash. There’s potential on the mound, as well, where the right-hander sat 76-78mph with a curveball at 67-68mph, slider at 66-67mph and changeup at 67-68mph. High-follow in the Ontario Nationals 2029 class.
