2028 OF/RHP Sam Hornby was another underclassmen to really jump out at the Ontario Nationals Scout Day. The frame stands out for his age at 6-foot, 145-pounds and he possesses potential on the positional side as an outfielder, as well as on the mound as a right-handed pitcher. The left-handed hitter was able to get on-plane and spray line-drives in all directions. Peak exit velocity of 84.4mph, was also up to 81mph from the outfield and ran a 3.99 30-yard. On the mound, Hornby sat 73-77 T78 and paired it with a curveball at 67-68mph and changeup at 71-73mph.
