This was our first look at 2026 C/1B Tyler Marshall since August 2024 and he’s developed well since that time with all his metrics trending upwards. The Midwestern Ontario Bearcats catcher had the 2nd-best catcher velocity at 76mph, along with consistent throwdowns that produced 2.03-2.10 pop-times. The 6-foot, 155-pound left-handed hitter put together two quality rounds of BP as he found the barrel for line-drives to the middle part of the cage. Marshall had a peak exit velocity of 93.3mph (83.5 avg), peak distance of 334ft and Sweet Spot % of 77. It was a good overall day from the Bearcats catcher and needs to be on the radar of Canadian schools looking for a catcher who can get it done on both sides of the game.
